Miguel Sicart is a play scholar based at the IT University of Copenhagen.
After a decade of looking at the ethics of computer games (research published as The Ethics of Computer Games; and Beyond Choices: The Design of Ethical Gameplay (MIT Press 2009, 2013)), he decided that enough was enough and that all games and no play was not good for his health.
He then started working on playful design. His most recent book, Play Matters (MIT Press, 2014), is a manifesto for play as a way of being human in an age of computers. More about his work can be found at miguelsicart.net and on his blog playmatters.cc.
