Becca Rose is an artist, designer, and educator. She makes playful work that encompasses craft, folk-art, storytelling, education, and creative technologies. Becca works with smart materials such as conductive paints and threads, animation, participatory events, and other interactive methods to bring stories to life. She studied Literature and Art in Leeds, and has a masters degree in Design from Goldsmiths, University of London. In the past she has worked with Ideo, Intel, Makerversity, NuVu, Lost my Name, Make Media, and Interactive Scientific and currently she is a lecturer in Creative Media Design at the University of the West of England, and a resident at the Pervasive Media Studio in Bristol.
