Sebastian Johnson

Sebastian is a founding partner and Vice Chair of Smart Oxford. He manages the Oxford Strategic Partnership (OSP), which brings together leading representatives from business, local authorities, universities and other public sector bodies and voluntary and community organisations to identify a long term sustainable vision for Oxford and work collectively on addressing key issues facing the city.

He led Oxford’s successful bid to Government to be one of only 12 Super Connected Cities resulting in significant broadband and wireless investment in and around Oxford and was part of the team that led Oxford’s shortlisted bid to be European Capital of Innovation in 2016.

As well as working in the public sector, he has run two businesses and has been involved in a number of charities and community organisations during the 25 years he has been in Oxford.
